Did you think I was dead?  I wasn't!  I was only dormant!  

I have been woken up!

Well, it seems I have been woken from a deep slumber for purposes of blogging about the Budgerock's upcoming vacation.  So, here goes:

Wednesday, April 2nd, Asha left for Paris with her friend Capucine and Capucine's mother, Anne-Francoise.  (Thank you Anne Francoise!).

They spent the night in Paris with Capucine's aunt.


The following day, they were united with their FASPS classmates for the 5th grade trip to Paris.   They are all staying at a new youth hostel known as the Auberge de jeunesse Pajol.  (Google it and awe.)

Word is that, the first day, they took in some sights, rode the Metro, and toured the Seine by boat.

The balance of the Budgerock clan will travel to Paris April 9th.  Rough itinerary from arrival forward is as follows:

• One day in Paris, train to Avignon and then set up camp in Vaison!
• Five days in Vaison!
• April 16 Marseille to Casablanca!
• April 16 to April 26:  Morocco!!!!!!!!!!!
• April 27:  Returning home, Fez to Paris, Paris to Seattle.
